Some projects begin with a client brief. Others begin with pure curiosity.
Sneaker Freaker Promo was conceived as an independent creative exercise inspired by the visual language of sneaker culture and the editorial identity of Sneaker Freaker, one of the world's most influential publications dedicated to footwear and streetwear. The goal was to transform iconic designs into a fast-paced visual experience driven by rhythm, color and motion.
Acting as both Creative Director and Video Editor, I developed the concept from the ground up, defining the visual approach, editorial structure and overall creative direction before moving into offline editing, music selection and motion graphics production. Every cut, transition and animation was designed to reinforce the energy and personality associated with contemporary sneaker culture while maintaining a clean, premium advertising aesthetic.
Produced using Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop, the final piece was optimized for social media distribution and conceived as a personal case study demonstrating editorial storytelling, graphic design and commercial thinking within a highly dynamic format. More than a promotional video, it serves as an exploration of rhythm, design and visual identity through the language of advertising.
