Music documentaries demand a different editorial language. Rather than simply summarizing a story, the challenge lies in capturing the energy, attitude and emotional legacy of the artists themselves while creating enough intrigue to invite audiences into their world.
For Cum On Feel The Noize, my role focused on developing the official international sales trailer used to promote the documentary across worldwide markets and distribution channels. The editorial concept was designed to translate decades of music history into a concise promotional piece capable of balancing archive material, performance footage and narrative progression without losing the raw spirit that defines the genre.
Working primarily in Avid Media Composer, I developed the complete trailer from concept to final delivery, including footage selection, editorial restructuring, pacing and finishing. Adobe Photoshop was used to create and refine the graphical elements integrated into the final piece. The completed trailer became part of the documentary's international marketing package, supporting sales activities and promotional campaigns aimed at broadcasters and distributors.
