Created for Moonrise Pictures, the international trailer for Safari was conceived as a dedicated sales and marketing piece designed to position the film within the global marketplace while preserving the immersive visual language characteristic of the found footage genre.

Directed by Darrell Roodt, Safari follows a documentary crew whose expedition into the African wilderness takes a terrifying turn, blending survival horror with the realism and immediacy of handheld filmmaking. Building on this premise, the trailer was designed to amplify tension and suspense while introducing audiences and international buyers to the film's distinctive narrative style.

As Senior Video Editor, I was responsible for developing the complete creative concept of the trailer, overseeing every stage of the editorial process from footage selection and narrative construction through offline editing, color correction, sound integration, graphic design, mastering and the preparation of all international sales deliverables. The project combined Avid Media Composer for editorial development with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects for the creation of promotional graphics and animated title treatments, resulting in a polished marketing asset tailored for worldwide distribution.
